Comments: Thanks to everyone who put in their time and effort to put on this event - much appreciated. We really enjoyed our return to orienteering despite the weather on Monday (in fact that just makes Wilf's taste even better). Everything in one spot made it so much easier too. And the real ale was a bonus!

Comments: A big thank you to everyone involved in putting on SinS 2011. We are both relatively new to the sport, and as this was our first BIG event, we both felt a little apprehensive but weather aside, it was wonderful. The campsite owners couldn’t do enough to help, the Butchers Grill was a ‘life saver’ in the morning, as was the bar in the evening and having the two events next to the campsite created a real festival atmosphere to the weekend. Thank you, we’ll be back.

Comments: I would like to give my very grateful thanks to all those involved in putting on the events . I would like to suggest that the moorland areas should figure in future events - they are a significant part of the area. I did not like the middle distance map - it was extremely hard to read which controls were which and to see any features under all the red circles and lines. It was crammed into too small a space. the rain did not help with that but nothing can be done about rain - except realise the possibility / probability of it happening.
Comments: We just want to add our thanks to all involved in SinS 2011. Our first, and thoroughly enjoyable, from all 4 events, to the barn dance, quiz and fantastic campsite. That was a real bonus, particularly with being able to walk to events on 2 days. We really appreciate all the effort put in.

Comments: Having just taken part in the SINS weekend I’d like to THANK YOU and all the army of volunteers that made the excellent weekend of orienteering possible. I can well imagine the tremendous amount of work that went into preparing and delivering the weekend. Please pass on my thanks to all concerned. You cannot control the weather and this was not kind. But it did not dampen the enthusiasm of your volunteers or the participants. I particularly liked the addition of an Urban Race and given its popularity hope that this will now become a firm feature of future SINS. Maybe swapping around the Middle Distance event to the Sunday would be worth considering in future to even out the physical challenge over the three days. As to the areas chosen - Brampton Bryan is wonderful area for orienteering. The two woods adjacent to the campsite had the advantage of proximity but were very physical. In past SINS I’ve greatly enjoyed some of the more open areas on the Welsh border which afford great views and more spectator interest. I do hope they will be used in future SINS. Congratulations on a job well done in SINS 2011. I’m already looking forward to SINS 2013 – do you have the dates?
Best wishes

Comments: Enjoyable events, didn't realise how tired we were until about the following Friday. Will be back next time. Only minor issue with start times, we ended up with an early, middle and late after asking for them all to be early. If everyone is to be given balanced times then that is fine, if that is the case then I would suggest you don't give people the option to choose anything else. Don't forget to submit the results to the ranking scheme
