My only problem with the website is that the floaty menu doesn't work very well on mobile, which of course is what you are trying to use when you're away from home for the weekend. Maybe a separate mobile version for 2015?

Brilliant weekend - all the effort was definitely worth it. Quibble: I always say this, but I'll say it again anyway... :) Please don't put the white/yellow starts at the top of a long climb.

I do the HOC routegadget - I can help, or at least I will be able to after I've got back from organising tonight's COBOC event in Sutton Park... Cheers, A

Hi Webwallah. Yes, positioning Routegadget circles is tricky, and there is certainly a "knack" to it". I do the SYO Routegadget, and am happy to help you out with this. If you like I could split the job with Adrian (HOC) and we can do 2 each (I'll do Ludlow and Brown Clee).

I only ran Ludlow myself, but here's some feedback:

The Good: The Ludlow map, the planning (especially leg 15 on course 2), the weather :!cool:

The Bad: A mysterious delay of 30 minutes before the first starter could start.

The Ugly: Not getting Routegadget up yet... ;)

Thanks to all the volunteers who I believe have staged a decent multi day event. The good and 'not so good' as I see it!

The Gopod:
The campsite, albeit toilet facilities need to be maintained better for duration of event.
The website is good, no need to change.
Three good areas, even day 2 despite the moans, some people need to realise that we are a small island and do not have the vast areas one may expect of Scandinavia.
Nice to have a run-in to Assembly field on day 3, for me this makes a good event all the better. Planners need to think about an 'all round good experience' even if it means sacrificing a little quality on last leg etc.
Well planned courses I thought, especially the easier ones (Yellow / orange)that managed to get 'off the path'.

The Not so good...
Toilets at campsite, slow results, both on the day and afterwards (still not posted)and no aggregate results. If event billed as a multiday event, then the results need to replicate this. Very dissapointing not to have prizes/presentation, a big letdown for a multi day event with 1000+ entries, especially as entry fees at higher end. Poor organisation at the Starts at day 1 and the Urban (Urban start poorly planned and officials a little officious). The £3 surcharge to change entry time (even though Fabian4 set the lead on this, shame on you!)is dissapointing, I hope this is not the way our sport is going.

Overall enjoyment far outweighs the little hiccups, the sport is based on volunteer help and we all need a little tolerance at times.

Thanks to all :D
