Welcome to the Springtime in Shropshire 2011 web site.

This year we are providing an orienteering feast with four (yes four) events to satisfy you hardened 'SinS' junkies! We have the traditional three excellent days of orienteering set in the glorious countryside of Shropshire, all very close to Ludlow, and have also added an optional Street 'O' around this delightful town. Get to know  all the shuts, the town walls, the bridges, the castle, the buttermarket, the riverside picnic sites and many historic places in a town you may have previously visited but never before explored! Bring your trainers.

For campers we have a resolution that beats everything! Your site is within a five minute walk of two events and a very short drive to a third.  As usual we will also have camp site entertainments for all. See our camping page.

Ludlow is a popular tourist town and area,  so B&B bookings are recommended to start early early.

As always, the competition will be three normal events of interesting and challenging areas. Prizes (Street 'O' excluded) will be awarded to the winners in all classes - so make sure you do not miss a day  This year our class winners and runners up prizes are to be upgraded to be something a little more useful than a medal.

As more information becomes available so it will be posted on this website - keep in touch. The menu button labelled  "Updates"  logs every single change and addition to the site.

In the meantime remember the dates  and enjoy the prospect of a rather special Spring Bank Holiday in Shropshire - the orienteering really will be as good as it gets!
